Traveling around the world in 800 days by motorcycle

Introduction

We are desirous to inform you that a young Iranian couple, Mr.Mahmoud Gheidi and Ms.Masoumeh Amiri Moghaddam who are travelers round the world by motorcycle in 800 days. This will be a new initiative taken by this couple for exploring the five continents.

 This trip supported by the Promoting Iranian Research institute. Worthy of mention is that the Iranian Roshd Pajuhesh Institute as an executor of propagandistic programs, coordination and public relations of young travelers.

Their documents are issued by some organizations and ministries, foreign ministry, Iranian tourism club, cultural heritage organization, etc.

After lots of journeys in Iran or out of country in normal ways, and their successful journey to the "Silk Road" and China by their car, they have planned in unique and an interesting move, this traveling round the world by a motorcycle. In Iran , this is the first time that a couple with cultural motives is going to have this kind of traveling.

 Their film of the "Silk Road" has received a prize from an amateur film festival in Iran .

Goals

This trip has various purposes:   

Personal aims: searching new views of life and connecting to the nature-

• To praise the life with slogan" in admiration the life"
• Sending wave of love, amour, peace from Iranians families to the world
• Cultural aims: Commemoration of "Mowlana" accordant to UNESCO and signing a scroll in route and other countries, in the end of 2007, it will be send to the UNESCO
• Introducing of Persia , history, ancient civilization, Iranian's society to the other people in the world
• Visiting of attractive, historical and unique places in other lands

Time and Duration

Because of long time (more than 800 days) in this project, we prefer to inform you step by step:

The first: Date of starting: 10 June 2007

Departure of Iran and enter to Turkey : 20 June 2007

Departure of Turkey and enter to Europe (Greece): 5 July 2007

The second: Duration of staying in Europe : Greece , Italy , Spain , France , Germany , Portugal : about 90 days.

The third: moving to the USA

Results

• Registering of journey by Professional camera and arranging exhibition Of pictures or films
• The establishment of a new museum to remain forever this trip
• Receiving of massages from other people to Iranians
